Dave—
I just learned about the Kalama Kamp in the Turks & Caicos held earlier this month. When is the next Kalama Kamp? I am a novice but have been looking for a SUP vacation I can do this winter in a warm place where I can pick up some skills and get a good daily workout.

Hey Michael, We’re working on setting more up right now. As soon as we have some dates, I’ll post them here as well as other stand up sites to keep everyone informed. Aloha, Dave
HI Dave
Myself and a few mates have recently started tow surfing on the north coast of KwaZulu Natal in South Africa. I see you have a lot of really good info on SUP techniques but would love to hear some advise on towing into bigger and bigger waves as well as any rescue techniques for the ski driver(mainly myself). How about coming across here and setting up a workshop on both SUP and towing, im sure you will get a massive response.

Hey Damo, My advice would be to practice in small surf as much as possible so that the consequences of any mistakes are only minor. Once you master it there then start moving up the later step by step. Good luck and aloha, Dave
