I didn’t make it to the Battle of the Paddle but I did make it back to Namotu. Congratulations to Danny, Jamie and Slater. There couldn’t have been a better 1,2,3 combo. Here’s a few of the trip highlights. Aloha, Dave All photos by Stuart Gibson

Dave, looks awesome. Are those pics of that left you are on Cloudbreak? Are the smaller rights at Wilkes?
Aloha,
Scott
Man those are beautiful waves and water, with a kickin mullet ta boot. What model you riding there?
Namotu lefts and Pools. Good clean fun. Aloha, Dave
I’m riding a wider version of the 9’0″ Nalu (28″ wide). Hopefully available soon. Aloha, Dave
I’m jealous! I haven’t surfed Namotu in 20 years! I gotta get back there.
Cloudbreak was giant I bet…

Great pictures Dave.. The last one is classic.. Can you tell me what board that is in the first pic?
9’8″ proto type semi-gun. Aloha, Dave

Questions about Namotu resort
I have a kind of dream, which is to offer some unforgettable surf-snorkeling- peaceful – holidays to my family and I, and thought about Namotu.
I would like to know whether Namotu resort is suitable for a family with 3 children. We all dive (snorkelling), and are very comfortable with the sea environment. My children and my wife all surf, but in rather small conditions. What about the reef side, is it suitable for beginners?
Regarding myself, I surf and windsurf with 6 to 7 ft with no problem.
I will like to know if july is a good season for all these combinations.
Thanks for your feed back
Aloha
