I’m pretty pleased with the progress I’ve made with shaping boards that do what I think a great SUP surf board should do. Here’s a video of how a few of my latest shapes perform.

Nice waves! Put me down for a board when you get them rolling.
Kinda hard to believe how well it holds the bottom turn. One of the things it took me longest to recalibrate from prone to SUP is that in waves of any size (that’s overhead+ for me), I’ve really got to go easy off the bottom or I spin out. You, however, are slashing at it with no visible slippage. However you’re doing it — rails, fins, side-channels, a thinned-out tail? — it’s definitely working.
Boards look like they are going great. Good job Dave. Bummed I missed the surf last week was out with ear infection. Killing me to see here the surf i missed out on.
