This blog hasn’t really been launched, if you’re here, then thanks so much for coming, and we hope the construction mess doesn’t put you off.
We pulled the Store down, there was nothing in it but some test products, and people were wandering around trying to figure out what it was all about. Once we have some products ready it will be back.
We’ve added a newsletter that you can sign up for. Lots of blogs have newsletters that send notifications when new content gets posted. This isn’t one of those. We intend to use it for notifications of timely issues–like television appearances, or the potential for big waves at spots like Peahi. If you’d like to be notified about new posts we suggest you click here or on the RSS button that says POSTS. We’ve set up the RSS feed so it even works with iTunes, because we eventually plan some Podcasts. One of the many features on the to-do list is adding email post notification–not very hard, but neither is everything else on the list.
The newsletter registration is separate from general blog registration. Makes more sense to add an one-click option to the general registration, and we’ll get that done real soon now. Once you register on the general blog you can comment on posts. Your comment won’t show up immediately, we need to review them. There is so much comment spam around these days that it’s just necessary.
Enjoy the blog. Play around in it. don’t be surprised if we break it every now and then, its so new we haven’t tried it with the side bites yet.
Hey, at least you’re making progress. Keep going. Thanks for the blog. Really enjoying it.
Not launched? I´ve been following this blog all along and I am from Chile, so I think this blog is pretty much launched. I am enjoying every word and image of it.
Thanks for sharing
Andres
Hey Dave,
Great running into you at Sugar Cove last Thanksgiving after all those years. Sally and I are flying in this Friday, May 21 for two weeks to sail, kite and SUP. Hope to go for a paddle if you’re not too busy!
We’re staying at Tom Gerlach’s again at the corner of Nonohe and Hana Hwy.
Aloha,
Mike Schubert
